The external hard drive that stores my images (that are cataloged in Lightrroom3 ) crashed today so I had to hook up my back up drive. When I launch LR3 is says "missing photo or drive is offline" How to I direct LR3 LIbrary/Catalog to go to this new external drive that contains my raw files?

I have the same problem Lyndon Hunt has. My pics are on an ext HDD and sometimes my PC assigns a different drive letter so I either have to manually "reconnect" each folder or go through the cumbersome process of assigning the original drive letter to my ext HDD.

Is there a better way? Any help would be appreciated. I don't know how this site works so if you have an answer please email me at dchang69@alumni.usc.edu.
