Using a white sheet of paper is better than nothing, but that only gives you a reference point for your highlights, which isn&#039;t as dependable as a midpoint (grays).  Additionally, gray cards are less susceptible to wrinkles and tears.  :)

		<description>I have in my dslr something called pre-defined white balance. I was using this function but with a white page of paper( shooting paper before shooting actual subject).  Can I get the same result with this gray card?</description>
