		<description>Yeah, anytime an unsolicited offer involving money comes up, I&#039;m instantly on guard.  But, since I&#039;m in total control of the article, I didn&#039;t see much harm in going through with it.  If he didn&#039;t pay, I&#039;d just delete it.

As far as Google is concerned, it absolutely helps his site.  That&#039;s why he offered me money as part of the deal.  

That really says it all... he&#039;s probably tried to just offer people free content and found that it wasn&#039;t enough.  The $25 offsets the fact that he&#039;s picking up 2 good links in some people&#039;s minds.</description>

		<description>This is pretty interesting.  It&#039;d kinda throw up a red flag for me that he was offering me money instead of just a link/article swap.  

From a search engine&#039;s perspective (Oh, let&#039;s just call it Google), does it help this guy&#039;s site that he has a quality link from you and (I assume) he has no return link to your site?</description>
