Well after falling victim to the open tray error only to discover my warranty was less than a week out of date, I sat and pondered for a while some things to do with my broken "EX"- box 360. Here are ideas you might find helpful.

1. Target practice with your favorite firearm
2. Having an Office Space moment and grabbing a bat.
3. Raising your middle finger to Mr.Gates and going Sony. ( Not quite what to do with your Xbox but still a good idea! )
4. Turning your Xbox into a dumbbell.
5. Laying your Xbox on a busy street and watching hilarity ensue.
6. Killing the blasted thing with your bare hands! ( Personal favorite of mine! )
7. Give up on playing video games for leisure, smash your Xbox with a hammer and go outside! ( Make sure to dispose of the remains first! )
8. Follow steps one through six, or just follow step seven! I went with seven about a week ago, life is certainly more enjoyable without the frustrations Microsoft gave me!

I hope this has been of assistance in lightening your mood as you deal with the utter BULLSH*T you've had to endure due to the shortfalls of Microsoft. Best of luck, and just know that you are one of thousands who have had this problem.

Alex...sorry, but gotta correct you here, while you can install the game, to HD from another xbox...you cannot play it without the disk, in the drive...and if you have a problem with the DVD drive...well then your up the creek without a paddle, in terms of playing your favorite 360 game. I know this, only because I tried it...lol

If you don't have XBL, you can always just use it as decor, or a REALLY expensive paperweight xD

that's pretty much all I can do right now with my XBOX...MS is taking forever to get back to me >.<"
